I know uniforms have been discussed b4 but I have spent the evening trawling through past threads on uniforms & looking at suppliers websites & am still not getting far!

Help please!!.....

My uniform is bi stretch polyester & is way too hot now the sun is here so I need something nice & cool. Desperately!

There is a nice chocolate one on Health & beauty wear described as 'breathable polyester' or there are nice ones on Buttercups, Diamond etc in 'pontella'.

Any ideas which will be cooler? The H & B one is much cheaper so tempted by it but don't want to waste my money if it's just the same heat as my old one! (so wondering if the more expensive ones are a better investment).

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

I have just ordered a pontella uniform from Buttercups hopefully it should be here next week so I will let you know what its like !

This is the first time I have had pontella so im hoping its as good as it sounds. I do think that the expensive ones are very good quality and last forever but last year I bought some Simon Jersey tunics and I was very impressed with the fit and material and tbh I actually found the fit to be much better than Inline which I had always worn previously and they were over double the price ! Admittedly the quality of the material wasn't as nice as Inline imo but just being able to order a uniform in my actual size was enough for me

hi, ive always been a fan of inline london they last and fit so well, plus they have just brought out a brights range for summer with pink and lime.
also have you ever thought about getting some plain stretch t-shirts and having them printed at the local copy shop with your name or logo? they are so much more comfy in the heat. hope this helps xxxx

Thank you for your reply. I was only thinking last night maybe I should try wearing a matching T shirt for when I am doing massage as that is the worst treatment I find for working up a sweat! (not a nice look).

So may start looking for one to try as well as a new uniform.

I'm wearing one from Beauty Street at the moment, it's just cotton (I think!!), it's so cool, I love it! Definitely the coolest one I've had so far, I hate those polyester tunics, yuck! Pontella is nice though, I ordered a pontella one from Beauty Street too, but it didn't fit me quite as well as the other one.

Hope that helps!!

Just thought id update on the buttercups uniform.

The material is without a doubt better quality than the simon jersey uniform I wore previously but I wouldn't say it was any cooler.

I will stick with buttecups as I like the design and fit of the tunic but pontella didn't live up to the hype in my eyes !
