Hi guys
Got a tent off ebay last wk and could i get it back down i had one before and wandered why it wouldnt go down i called the person i got it from he sent me a video still wouldnt got down.
So i took it to my friends house as she has a sienna x one and did what i normally do with my old one to hers it was down in 2 mins grrr
ive now got it to go down and told the bloke i want to send it back and he says hes sold 100 of them and no one has had a problem with it.
its bent on one side but he says there no problem with it sooo i said have you tried to take one down your slef he said no
soo how the hell would he know if there was a problem with it
so if anyone is thinking of getting a tent off ebay use pay pal as there are alot of cheap ones around that dont come close to the big tan ones:mad::mad:

Oh no, thats very annoying, I hope you get it resolved with the seller. What bad customer service!
Just out of interest its not a pink pop up tent is it? I've seen one on ebay for around £60 that I was thinking of getting, but I have checked the sellers terms and conditions on refunds so fingers crossed?

hi i bought one off ebay a while back and since then i have bought a professional one, they may be cheap but in the long run you will be out of pocked, the quality etc.. is no way as good as the professional ones, mine started ripping within a month or so and then i had to spend more money buying a good one. :)

I have to admit I was tempted at buying all the spray tanning kit off Ebay - to cut corners and cost really, but I'm so glad I didn't and chose to do training and get kit off Sienna - I'm so glad I did.

Some people my think differently or prefer another company, but I have found getting the professional kits (including tent) as well as the marketing stuff and solutions much better and I suppose value for money.

Hi Hun,
I haven't seen a pink one on Ebay but did see a pink one at a show.......Nooooo Don't buy pink, it will only be pink for the 1st tan.
No matter how good your gun is you will get some overspray.
I had a problem on a mobile tan once, my gun trigger locked on......I had to point it at the side of the tent as the client turned, so glad my tent is black. Gun went OK after about 5 mins, was working perfectly when I sprayed her friend 10 mins later.
But tent was power washed when I got it home.
Black or Brown is best.
I bought mine from www.spraytansupermarket.com it is really good, had it about 2½ years and still going strong, but it can be a little difficult to fold sometimes, the steel band in the sides is a bit twisted now. I have had my moneys worth out of mine now, so wouldn't mind if I had to buy a new one.
Good luck

I'm having a problem getting my tent down. I've bought mine through tantrick but just can't get the knack of it. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas??

Sarah do a search hun and there is loads of threads with step by steps to get them down,

they need training to go down so that they will take on the shape nice and naturally,
once you have done it once, repeat it about 10 times in a row and it will start to know where it is supposed to go when you start to bend it,

when it is erect make sure none of the frame work is twisted as this will stop any tent from going down, hth

Thanks Louise, I'll be able to do it once and then i think i'll have another go and then it won't do it. I've even watched the link on you tube. I wish they's been invented so that you could just fold them in half!! x

pmsl, you and me both and 100`s of others,
if you are still struggling get in touch with your trainer, im sure she will be happy to go through it with you again and help you,

will do, i've had a look at the sienna x video, the tent seems to be different and goes down a different way which i just tried. It looks sooooooo easy, it's not fair!!

Did it work trying the different way? I have the sienna tent however i do remember in the beginning it was hard to get used to doing it the right way. I think it takes time when you get a new tent perhaps x

I am the self confessed research queen:green: and after spending hours on the web I have finally settled on the tent from Suntana Its £79.00 and has clear windows at the top. The other reason I picked this one was because someone said how lovely the new solutions are and I wanted to try them out, so I have also ordered a trial pack of the 3 of them. The p&p is £10 for the whole thing and ordered this morning it will be with me Wednesday. I honestly can not see the point of all the worry of buying from ebay when you can buy from an established company with good return policy for what amounts to a few £'s more. Piece of mind...............
Companies I have been very pleased with so far
Our ownTantricks, Celebrety Secrets, Suntana, and our own Uglee's.
I spent many years sorting out different companies who had bad customer servise and I can honestly say I have found these to be exceptionaly good. That is not to say that other companies have lacked, but these stand out from the crowd.

I've watched this quite a few times and sometimes it works, at the moment i've tried it about 20 times today and I can't get it down. I've tried the sienna x way and it won't go down either. I've been using at home and start my first mobile clients on Thursday so I'm getting a bit nervous about it now. I'm more worried about getting the tent down than doing the actual spray tan!!

Hi Hun,
Mine does not fold down so easy as on that video.
I am pooped when I have done mine. But mine is not the same as in the vid, mine has the clear plastic top, with is a bit thicker material and a bit stiff.
I usually fold mine from bottom to top, even though my instructions were the same as the vid. I even put one foot on mine to hold it as I fold with brute force. I think if I was taller it would be easier.......so would many other things too.
Good luck
Lotsa luv x x  x x

I've just got it so it will go down but it actually pops backs up again but will go in my bag. It actually looks like it's starting to come away at the top seam and i've only had it up in the front room of my flat!! surely little me couldn't have done this x

Hiya,

Id make sure that you fill in the Customer feedback on his profile and make a comment on how yours did not work and then maybe he'll different in giving you a refund, because a lot of the sellers dont want their profiles tarnished. Just a thought:idea:
