How fantastic! GiGi is just the best! I left excel on sunday on a buzz but still have'nt had a chance to try the popits . The application looked soooooooo easy . And we also walked away with a goodie bag with everything you need to 3 full sets. did anyone else see the demo? And have you tried them with l&p?:)

You LUCKY dog!!

Did you take pictures of the Queen in action?????

Hi

Have just done a new client this morning with poppits and Creative L & P.

Its taken me a few go's to get this right, but today I surprised myself and did a beautiful set. Have to admit I took my time, usually it has taken me 2.5 hours per set! However, today i didn't panic and try to rush, but when I checked the time at the end, it had only taken 1 hour and 20 mins from start to finish!

This included a very thorough prep as the client hadn't had her nails done for ages.

So the answer is not to clock watch, relax and let the nails flow!

Yup I was there and yes she was great. Gigi also signed my 'Nailclass' book for me too.:)

I tried out some popits on my daughter tonight and also on myself. I think I need a little more practice!!

i feel so hard done by!!! where was this going on i didnt see a single cnd or SS item person or sign with cnd/SS on it at excel i went on the monday tho if that makes a difference?!! i was really hoping to see cnd as im debating a conversion course!!!

Thats a fantastic result. It usually takes me 1.20 min if im relaxed and flowing:green: so im hoping a full set with popits would take approx 45min. i could double my takings:eek:

I did a full set of popits on a client today, and I cut the little skirt bit off like Gigi showed me. The end result was lovely, perfect shiney nails without that ledge that you get with un-tailored popits.

I'm really happy to be able to offer popits on my menu now!

The demo was on sunday . Gigi actually told me that Sweet Squared decided not to have a stand at the show.

Hey Kelly - the presentation was on Sunday at 2:00 and it was all over the PB flyers, website etc. We also had info here on the site. As to S2/CND being there, we made a decision in November last year not to do ExCeL; there has been no advertising or anything and we were not on the exhibitor list so I am sorry if you were disappointed but we were never going to be there. I think some assumed due to the past... but the past was a different compnay and not S2:)

As to conversion, please call us 0845 210 6060 so we can send you The Master Plan Folio and help you.

Ladies, I have been demonstrating PopIts all over the country so I am sorry you missed one of those events. I have not got definite dates planned just at this time for another demo 'tour' but I'm sure if you continue to check the site, that any more events will be mentioned here.

In the meantime, you should be able to ring a Creative Nail Academy near you and ask to see a demonstration of PopIts or easier still, just order a box and have a go yourself!

There are plenty of step by steps and information right here in the site to get you going. If you are a nail technician then you can use PopIts from Sweet Squared. 0845 210 60 60!!

Of course it is always disappointing when plans go awry but it was well publicised on the PB website and here on thenailgeek that the PopIts demonstration was on the Sunday and it has been known for months that Sweet Squared/CND decided it was not in its or its customers' best interests at this time for them to attend the show.

It is clear that Sweet Squared made absolutely the right decision not to attend as both the numbers of exhibitors and attendees was WAY down on last year and previous years. I personally think this show is dying and am looking forward to something new and exciting to take its place on the calandar.

Frankly in my opinion, as far as nails are concerned, apart from the PopIts demonstration, (which was the most attended demo at the show) there was nothing new or exciting to be seen and absolutely no buzz or excitement in the hall.

The show was full of non professionals milling around, children and babies, auntie Floes and Aunty Enids etc etc. Just one of the conversations I overheard was from a group of girls on a nail stand who asked, "What do you need a brush for to apply false nails"?

Sweet Squared still have big 'show deals' on all this week so customers need not be disappointed if they place their orders promptly before the end of the week. There are some phenominal deals and savings to be had so I'd get ringing and you can still have your own show over the phone!!

!!

I totally agree, I can't see myself attending any more shows unless something changes.
As for children, I saw a few always thought children under 16 weren't allowed.
I for one will be eagerly awaiting to see something new appear on the calendar.
A very dissapointing show.
