I have been reading through all the poppit threads and i reckon i am thick, cos i am more confused now. Nail extensions have driven me mad for years , to the point were i have given up on them all together and concentrate on helping those select few people who want natural long nails.
I trained eight years ago in all three systems, gel, silk and acrylic. I have played about with each. Been on a one to one acrylic course but only working with pink. On my training day they looked fab. Paid allot of money out on my stuff. Came home to work with them, But could not get them as good. Takes me two hours to do a full set. some times longer. They last when they are done, which they never used to, but i was never happy about them. To the point i thought the lady around the corner, does nails in just over an hour, they look good, so i can not compete. So crossed nail extensions off my list and concentrate on the beauty side.
Now these poppits sound fab but i simply can not get my head around what you do or how they work. Were you get them from and were the training is and whether i ought to just forget them with all the problems i have had with doing them normally. I would love to offer nail extensions. But lack confidence, speed and to be fair people do not want to be sat there for two hours with me in a sweat when they can go around the corner and get them done good in half the time. So hit me with it guys, will these poppits solve my problems or should i just forget it.

Dont get disheartened by taking 2 hours to do a set of nails, there is plenty more who take this long.

Regarding popits, have you read this http://www.salongeek.com/training/63347-what-popits.html

It has some fab reading and explains alot. Give S2 (sweet squared) a call on 08452106060 to order some popits and give them a try, im sure once you try them you will love them, they are much quicker to use than doing a P&W.

Good luck chick and let us know how you get on

Aw,
Don't be disheartened, read the PopIts link, they are fab, you will get the hang of them in no time. 2 hours is fine for a full set, some take longer.
But I think you will be a PopIt fan.
Good luck
Lotsa luv x

Thank you so much guys, were do i buy them from, are they expensive. Can you get other colour tips besides the french to work with the popitts and were is the best plase to get them from. Can i use acrylic with the popits or is anouther system better.
sorry i no i ask to many questions x

Hi Hun,
You can use any tips, well less is best, I have performance on at the mo, but I have used coloured tips, bought off Ebay, My fave is baby pink, I prep nail, apply tip, fill PopIt with clear acrylic, place on as per instuctions by Geeg, hold for at least 30 seconds or more. Then leave in place while it sets, I usually leave mine about 3 mins, but while waiting for that one to set I am doing the next one. When set just pop off and finish edge with fine file. I have also done them in a single colour with no tip or you can use a clear tip, those were lovely bright pink and sparkly.
Get some and have fun learning.
Lotsa luv x

Thank you so much guys, i will give them a try and post some pictures for you all. For the ladies with really short nails i am assuming you can use clear tips, blend tip and then apply poppit.
