Popping nails

Hi I have a problem with one of my clients. Her nails just pop off. I do all the right things( I think) and they don't just lift they just pop right off. Her nails are slightly rounded and was wondering if that is the problem. If it is what can I do to stop this annoying problem. Any help will be great.

Have the same problem with my sisters nails - have been practising away on them and they continually pop off - was gutted about it and thought it was me but after some investigation found out she has clubbed fingers and therefore willl NEVER be able to have acrylic nails!!! They have a rounded look to them.
