Hiya Everyone! Happy new year! I am looking to pick your brains. Has anyone taken the college course "Post Compulsory Education and Training PGCE/Cert Ed (Level 5/6)" ?? It is for people who are looking to teach in beauty etc?

Hiya,

It's for anyone who wants to teach in Further Education. The Cert Ed is the route you take if you don't have a degree and the PGCE is for those already degree qualified.

You can do the course over a year full-time at Uni, or over two years at college...

If you ring your local college and have a chat with them, they should be able to point you in the right direction. It may be that they are having an open day/eve this week (most colleges do at this time of the year)...

Good luck,

Sarah x

ye Iam in my second year of doing the cert ed, it is hard work but iam sure it will be worth it in the end.

if you are wanting to teach i would recommend you to do it as it does help when you have more knowledge about certain things
