Im booked on a beginners gel nail extension course with sally's in May.
I have already received my kit and I'm dying to try it out.
I just wondered are the course tutors likely to be unhappy if I had opened my kit and had a go already?

I shouldn't think it would be a problem.
Just bear in mind the correct storage in between now and May, ie;- out of any light source ,keep lids tight and stand everything upright and there should be no issue. I keep all mine in a drawer ! Besides which you have paid for the products, but remember to take everything with you on the day.
May is only weeks away so if you can wait it will be all nice and new on the course. Your decision obviously.........
I wish you well

Personally, I would wait until my course started.

No practice is better than incorrect practice. And, no two systems are alike.

Best of luck and enjoy the course! :)

That's true you don't want to get into bad habits before you start!

I agree about waiting, it’s so easy to pick up bad habits and it will make the course even more enjoyable if you haven’t played about with the kit beforehand.

Thanks everyone.
Im going wait haha. As you all say it's not long away and I don't yet know about proper Storage or cleaning for my Tools and Brushes.
Probably for the best to learn everything the correct way.
