I have that nail trainer, yes its good but it has its faults. Sometimes all you want to do is practise your acylic and gel application, for this I find working on tips embedded in a tube of blu tac thats shaped like a finger (as suggested by Geeg) is by far much much cheaper. As you press it down it forms the "cuticle area"

Affiniti Nails do a practise hand as well, which is ideal for practising sculpting especially if you use One Day Glue onto the hand as it allows you to prise of your nails of the hand. Yes you can practise sculpting on the nail trainer, but in my opinion the nails that come with the trainer are very flat and make sculpting practise darn impossible and unrealistic training, imho. And when you finally do get a sculptured nail that looks something decent, I personally don't like to display tainer tip nails as part of my nail art display. With the hand from Affiniti because you can prise the nail off its ideal to add to your portfolio of work.

Here is a link to Affiniti http://www.affinitinailandbeauty.com/

Do a search for Practise hand and One Day glue (I can't link straight to the pages for some reason)

hope that helps (a bit long winded, sorry)

I agree - have never used blue-tac to make a finger but it is the BEST trick of the trade I've learnt in ages - 1 pack makes 2 fingers and you hold them in exactly the same as you would a finger.
