I recently did the imagination nail art course... been practising what I learnt... what do you think?
 
Very nice, I think the colors are bold and the variation in design from nail to nail is striking. Oh, and the overal shape and application are great too--but you didn't really ask about that.
 
Is it like a netting technique? Looks really good!

they look great, I love this look wit the netting, looks fab with greens and blac and gold, like snakeskin, just wish I could do it on myself, they are fabby!

I will try :?:

I used the reverse method, pink first, shaped the smile line. Then used clear to create the length and shape of nail. Allowed to dry, removed form, and filed the shape.

Then added a section of the silver glitter, waited until it was nearly dry, dipped the netting into clear powder, then pressed into the silver, then filledcovered the silver with black acrylic. Filed top to give the snakeskin appearance, and then filled the other section with the blue glitter (bloc party - young nails)
