Hi, I’m using prestige Italian keratin flat tips, I’ve not used them before but I’ve used Italian keratin flat tips with both Remy cachet and beauty works and although removals are a pain they have never been anything like what I’m experiencing with the prestige ones.
Basically I’m crushing the bond with my pliers, adding the solution and crushing the bond some more, the bond begins to soften and crumble (like usual) but as I hold the natural hair in place and slide the extension down, the extension detatches away from the bond and a big clump of keratin stays in the natural hair. It’s happening with every 8 out of 10 bonds and only very few are coming away with the glue still attached to the extension like normal. Has anyone had anything like this before? As you can imagine it’s causing major breakage and hair loss trying to remove the glue afterwards.
