hi guys, Im finding it so frustrating thinking about what prices to put towards what treatments. Im used Creative, so im trying to work out what a solar manicure would be, creativespa manicure, creativespa pedicure, raw earth pedicure, and then theres nail enhancements, i dont know what to charge for a full set of pink and white or rebalance.

Just deciding on prices is giving me a really headache.

Ive looked on the internet at other peoples prices and they all seem to be quite similar.

Hiyah

When I put together my pricelist I checked out my competition in my area and slotted my prices just below theirs. I carry out price checks every 6 months on my competition... I think I need a life lol :)

You are doing the right thing by checking out what others in your area charge.
Get a few and just make a price that is competitive but doesn't under value your work xxx

yes , but do the other competitors in your area, use cnd products???

i price myself higher as i use cnd products, and in my opinion, they are worth the extra

im sure if you were to buy "cheaper brand" products then you take into account, your costs, your time , your mark up etc, so if the product is higher class, then this needs to be taken into account

So agree with this.

I use ezflow and charge around the same as the salons where I live (a bit more than some), although I work from home. (Some people are surprised to find I'm not cheaper than the salons as I have no overheads - I just say "think how much I'd be charging if I had a salon then !! lol)

Whatever you do don't start too low, it's incredibly hard to raise your prices up after you've pitched them low to start with. But if you start higher then you can always make special offers, and then when you want to raise your game, you just don't run any offers.

Don't undervalue yourself.
