Do you charge extra for coloured tips?

Also should I put a layer of white or clear down first to avoid buffing back to the tip at the rebalance?

I have a set tomorrow so just wondering what i should charge.
thanks
Mel

thats a good point I would like to know as well...also...for a full set of Overlays only, do you charge the same as a full set with tips?...

:hug:xxx

I usually put a thin layer of clear first, then if they want to change the colour at rebalance, I don't have to file back to the natural nail, just to the clear.

I charge from £3 extra for coloured/glitter tips.

I noticed that you use Ezflow.... do you find they cover well.... I am used to CND and much prefer the colours of Ezflow.. anyway I am having a little trouble my colours don't seem to cover the clear tips.. i can still see thru them a little.. when i add more crylic they end up being to think... would i be better to add a thin layer of white do you think?...

hi

i charge $5.00 per colour you should always cap your colours with clear so you get the true colour

Thanks for that tip..
$5.00 per colour??.. so if they just have same, red tips, then it is just $5.00 on top of their normal infill?

And sorry.. is it ok to cap in clear gel?....

EzFlow® | Acrylic Systems

I can't speak for CND as I don't use them, but for Ezflow design colour collections, i've found that the Gemstones, and Pastel flowers collections are solid colours and cover well. I've not got Earthstones yet, but I have Rainbow Candy which i've found you can see through a bit. You have to cap them in clear though or you will file some of the colour away.

rainbow candy and earthstones collections are based in a polymer clear powder, try working drier, you may find using another powder say from the gemstones (based in white) will give you more coverage altho these do not contain any glitter

I charge an extra £5 for coloured or glitter tips

Also should I put a layer of white or clear down first to avoid buffing back to the tip at the rebalance? always put down a very thin layer of clear first, then apply your colour, then cap with another very thin layer of clear to keep the colour nice and even

I have a set tomorrow so just wondering what i should charge.
thanks
