Hiya!
Just bought some Urban Decay Primer Potion and was wondering when should this be applied, before or after concealer??

My routine at the mo is

Cleanse
Moisturise
Concealer (Mac Liquid)
Foundation (Everyday Minerals Powder)
Rest of wall paint

Now just to make things even more confusing I sometimes use Mac's face primer, when should this be incorporated???

Hopefully someone in the know can help
Sorry one more thing! I got some Body Shop Pore Perfector aswell today, the sales assistant in the shop said to apply this before my moisturiser, is this correct??

Thanks

if it is makeup or foundation primers your are talking about then I would put it on under the concealer and foundation.

However, the Urban Decay Primer Potion is to give your eye shadow staying power so I would put it on directly under the eye shadow. If you put concealer on your eyes lids too then I would conceal before applying the primer potion if that makes sense.

With makeup though there are no set rules and it can be a case of what ever works for you.

In moste cases a primer goes first before concealer, foundation and the rest.
i use individual primer for the eyelids which works as a creamy foundation/concealer.
What i found to work best was a fixing spray that you mist over your finished make-up to make it sit for a long period of time.

hi as a rule primer is 1st as it acts like a filler for your skin to give it a more even a fresh look. But some products may vary, i use a lid primer which is great for stopping creasing of the eyeshadow and its a great base to apply eye make up on as it is really rich and creamy. smash box do a great primer which can be used on its own to give that dewy complection. hths hun xx
