Any help appreciated. I had a client natural hair level 7 with some old highlights thru the ends. She chose to go for 9/1 wella so I decided to put 10/1 with 30 vol to lift the natural hair and 9/1 with 20 vol for her ends. This is how it came out. The ends looking good but on natural she's like 8/3 the now :( don't know what I did wrong. She's coming back tomorrow. Used Olaplex - could that affect the colour?? And how to fix it???? :(

You should have probably used 40vol with olaplex...

the instruction says not to bump up your developer so I don't understand it :( Any ideas what to put on it to achieve ash blonde ,without damaging that shine??

If you wanted to stay at the 8 I would be more inclined to put an 8/16 CT

Cams is more knowledgable in wella so let's wait for him to see this x

Cool, thanks xx

Sorry but I don't understand why you'd increase the depth and drop the volume? The tone in a 10 isn't potent enough to neutralise a 9.

So I supposed to use 9/1 with 40 vol instead? Thanks in advance for any help

I wouldn't recommend 40vol, 30 was good, just should have decreased the amount of Olaplex, if you didn't get to the level desired.
