Problem with Shellac polish please help!!

Hi ,

Really need some help with shellac nails.

I have been doing shellac for the last few weeks with no problems.

The last three times i have used red baroness the polish when taking the tacky layer off removes the polish.

I have applied base cure 2mins then red baroness cure 2 mins another layer of colour , cure then top coat and cure 2mins.

When i remove the tacky layer with the alcohol supplied by cnd the polish keeps comes off. Any ideas why this keeps happening???:sad:

This happened to me when I hadn't covered the whole nail in top coat properly. Now I am meticulous with the top coat.

Do you mean it is all coming off or just a bit. If you dont cover all of the colour with the top coat then some of the colour will come off when you wipe with the alcohol.

I guess thats what happens when you try to hard to save product to much haha thanks a mil for the tip

Just a bit would be coming off on some of the nails.

I would always lash on the top coat but when doing a friends nails that is also a nail tech she told me i was using too much as it was 20euro a bottle i should use it more sparlingly. I guess i took her too literally!!

Base coat needs curing for only 10 seconds not 2 minutes.
