I'm trying to use LeChat top coat in the red bottle over Nobility overlays and extensions. I just can't seem to get it to cure to a nice shiny finish. I've tried curing for 2 mins and for 3 mins, even for 5 mins. I've tried applying straight over nobility sticky layer, and over buffed nobility. I've tried two coats of the top coat. And i've tried using nobility cleanser or sanitiser to wipe sticky layer.

It always turns out dull, or rippled or dispersed in places. What am I doing wrong??!! PLEASE HELP! I love nobility and want to use this for extra strength and shine.

thats odd, could it be your bulbs ?

maybe try putting it on a little thicker too.

well i have thought it may be the bulb but the nobility seems to be curing fine. i'll try the thicker layers, but to be quite honest i think they were fairly thick anyway.

What procedure do you use for the top coat??

usually i put it straight over the nobility.

if i need to file the nobility, i brush away ALLthe dust, wipe with the sanitiser and make sure they are DRY , apply top coat and cure 2 1/2 mins.

Ok i'll try that. Just to double check is that just 1 coat? And when u wipe the sticky layer u use nobility cleanser and its nice and shiney then even before u put on cuticle oil?? Thanks so much for your help!

yes.

if you want it glossier, use a polish top coat afterwards.
