hi guys

im having trouble with my brush just recently and am wondering what the problem could be.
today i started my first client and all was fine with my brush pick up and mix ratio but after 4 nails my brush seemed to stop picking up the same amount of powder even though i hadnt changed the amount of liquid in the brush..the beads became flat and very small in comparison to what they had been at the start..however much i changed the amount of liquid in the brush i couldnt get a good pick up of powder. the belly of the brush also seemed to be full of liquid when i was trying to work the beads but it just didnt seem to get into the flags enough to pick up the powder properly. there wasnt any acrylic stuck in the flags..so im a bit lost.
this happened with my last client but again only after a few nails, at first it was fine..nice big beads, nice mix ratio.

any advice would be most appreciated.
thanks:rolleyes:

This sounds like contaminated monomer - if you are not wiping your brush before dipping into your monomer, there may still be some of your bead on the brush and this will contaminate the rest of your liquid causing it to thicken and go cloudy. Your beads will then become small and sticky and difficult to release from the brush.
HTH!

hey thanks so much..thats it as i dont wipe before dipping into the monomer...thank you so much...much appreciated

Hiya, It sounds like the brush needs to be cleaned..it's picked up too much powder in it's belly and needs to be wiped clean.
Try dipping completly in clean liquid and wipe evrytme you dip.. also keep a clean jar of mon to clean brush at end of every session/nail treatment.

good luck and god bless
