Has anyone else had any problems with Solglo? I have done a few people without complaints but recently i have had people saying it is going patchy!! My sister is one of them so I know she is doing everything right and another girl is someone who i have done before but the last time it didn't take on her face, legs and arms and was patchy elswhere ( she is a friend and has not asked for money back or free one so I know she is genuine) My problem now is it me or my solution!! I have been keeping solution in fridge as i was advised on course. I have a sample from tantrick but am now scared to even trial it on anyone!!! Also i have had 3 people ringing to book a tan but i'm too scared to take them incase i ruin my reputation before I even start! Sorry for the long winded question - hope someone can help xx

Are you still using the same solution now that you were when the tans were ok maybe the solution has gone off.
I have never heard of having to keep solutions in the fridge only in a cool dark place.I bet your clients shudder when you spray them.
Definately try the tantrick on a guinea pig and see if the same happens then you will know whether if its the solution. You don't have to keep tantrick in the fridge.

Are you ensuring they are completely moisturiser free?

I always tell them to shower before they get tanned BUT some still slap on the moisturiser - this will defnitely effect the tans resulting in patchiness.

This has happened to a client this week. Gutted I am.

This is the first time i have heard of keeping solution in the fridge!
when you buy it from your suppliers do they keep it all in fridges and deliver in refrigerated vans, i doubt they do :wink2:
All spray tan solutions are best kept in a cool dark cupboard and you must give them a very good shake before doing your spray tan to distribute the DHA, if you don't give them a good shake this can cause patchiness, hth

In general terms spraytan solutions are relativley speaking quiet stable as a mixture however these liquids do NOT like being stored below freezing and above 30 degrees...this can de stabalise the formulation resulting in possible tan outcome problems.

So try and store in a cool dry place ..there realy is no need to specifically store in a fridge but maybe worth considering at the height of the summer months...hmph when's that ever going to finally come

Some would say that storing in a fridge extends the life of the solution once a bottle ha been opend..there are no trials carried out that can confirm this.

So just ensure that your liquid doesnt get stored outside in the winter and keep it cool in the summer months and you will be fine
