Professional courses? + Hi I'm new!

Hiya,

I'm a newbie!

I'm currently a stay at home mum and have 2 boys- 1 whose 5 and 1 whose 4 months old and has special needs.

I have always loved doing my own nails and friend's- French manicures etc
and so I thought I'd try and learn a new skill and learn how to do manicures at college.

Does anyone know of a professional qualification I could get to be able to do basic manicures and pedicures- not nail extensions.

I live in Dorset/ hants borders.

Has anyone got any suggestions? I've done a search on the web, and there are lots of courses, but I'm not sure if they're professional ones. I'd like to make sure i'm properly trained before I'm let loose on the general public!

have you tried your local college? I know a lot of them offer evening classes in hand and foot treatments.

Thanks Tenor. I did have a look but didn't find nails. Howver, I've just found that the Creative Academy have a training centre near me, so I'll give them a call.
