As it's summer now, I feel the need to say the contrary on how to make your spray tan last longer.

Prolonging your spray tan does not start with moisturiser but with what cleanser you use in the shower.

Moisturiser moisturises dry skin, but if you use harsh cleansers in the shower that are taking your tan of, what tan is there left to moisturize?

Harsh cleansers like sulphate, found in most shower gels, soaps, shampoo, washing up liquid. These all strip your skin of its natural oils and your spray tan, leaving your skin dry and tight and no tan left.

Try look for a gentle cleanser that doesn't use sulphate as these are gentle enough to cleanse your skin and leave your tan on.

Moisturising is for dry skin to prevent your tan looking too patchy as it fades. It will not keep your tan on if you are using harsh cleansers that are taking it of.

Thank you, it only makes sense.
