hiya guys,
i am very new to this site but cheers it has helped me out with loads of un answered questions from my course in spray tanning.

I need help, i am just starting up but nothing seems to be moving, i am getting the odd tans but mainly family, everyone thinks they are fab but just not having them.

any one got any ideas how i can promote myself?? i have business cards, bochures, leaflet done up but nothing??

i do feel like giving up at times, please help cause i do love doing it.
cheers xxx

Keep ur chin up! This is a very quite time of year for spray tanning. But in a couple of weeks the parties will be upon us, and you will be busier. Just keep positive and carry on promoting. It will improve.
Watch this space and don't give up!!!

I'm having the same trouble at the moment!! Keep the thinking caps on!!

cheers thankyou, i will and just try to promote as much as i can!!!
but any ideas would be fab!!!!xx

Just noticed your in Shropshire too!!

Did your course not cover how to market you business and ideas for promotion?

Try booking a few christmas fayres at a school and offering just a face spray, this got me quite a few new clients in the early days.

Arrange to go and do some talks at mother and toddler groups, slimming clubs, ladies clubs. Target some dance schools, morris dancing troupes, gyms. The list is endless, the business is there if you are willing to push for it. But... as Steve said this is a fairly quiet time of year for spray tanning.

Oooops, sorry it was Dawn

I am quiet aswell and I am in worcs I have been promoting loads luckily still working part time doing somthing else otherwise I would be broke lol

It might be the quiet season but there are still loads you can do.

Have you thought about Spray Tan Parties? Everyone likes a good night in during the winter months, get the girlfriends round and a few bottles of wine and you can have a great time and a spray tan to boot. Why dont you host one to get started, invite all your friends, relatives, neighbours, tell them all to bring a friend. You generally only get 1 in 4 people invited turning up. On the night offer a free gift to anyone booking a party for themselves. Try and get 2 party bookings at each party. Offer incentives to encourage bookings.

Good luck
Liz
