Hi,
Has anyone ever heard of or used Pure Fiji products?
Pure Fiji UK | Bath, Body & Spa
I found them while I was googling all sorts!! The products look lovely, they will be at PB2009, so I guess they have a professional range, but I wondered if anyone's got experience of them?
Thanks Geeks :)

Hi, I don't have personal experience of the product but I saw them at PB last year. They smell fab and a good variety of scents to choose from, which can be mixed and matched. I think they've also just introduced a sea shell lava massage which sounded nice. As far as i can remember the training was 75euro per therapist but free if you placed an order at the show. The girl at the stand who was their head trainer also said that as part of the training they show you how to encorporate the products into your manicure and pedicure routine. The minimum opening order was around 700pound for the body products and 250 for the facial range I think but don't quote me as i don't have the details to hand. Hope this helps a little. also the samples are quite generous

That's brilliant Sunray, thankyou so much :)
I will go and have a word with them at the show!

yes i've used pure fiji products for manicures and their oils for massage and they are GORGEOUS!!!! Only reason i didn't persue with them was their minimum order was £500 and as i am sole trader i couldn't afford it - has the minimum order changed?? I know you can request a sample pack ( i did got loads of little goodies)

Hi Eden, I received an email from them telling me their opening order value is £550! I guess that's nowhere near as much as some of the larger product houses charge to open an account with them...but it will still take some saving!! I'm a sole trader too, so it's a bit high for me as well, but I do love the sound of them!! I will ask for some samples :)

Hi

I ordered a kit from Pure Fiji just so I could see what it was like etc. They seem a nice company to work with and the lady did not seem too fazed that I was using this kit for treatments. I would probably pay for some training though.

I have the Frangipani set as I love this so much but I would like to add some of the others too. To be honest I think that with the kit you can get quite a few treatments out it.

HTH
:)

Anyone use Pure Fiji products, hand and foot treatments or body treatments:hug:
What are your thoughts and how do they retail?

someone on here used to use fiji for the life of me i cant remember.... as far as body scrubs go they are VERY expensive for the size of jar and how much you get (im talking almost double) thats what I remember when looking into scrubs

Hi
I currently stock the complete range of Pure Fiji Products at my salon in London, and think they are FANTASTIC. The smells are just gorgeous, and they have a fragrance for everyone, coconut, frangipani, mango and are great value for money too.
Im a little confused by bronzewolf saying that they are expensive as on professional size products cost per treatment is really low compared to other brands, and they give you loads of product too. My professional size products come in 1/2 gallon and 1 gallon size and they just last forever and you only need a tiny amount. I took on the range last year and i still have loads of pro product left and have done hundreds of treatments.
On the retail side of things they also have a really good mark-up too. In my salon we retail they brand really well. There most expensive retail product, is their sugar rub an we sell it at £26.50 rrp. I dont think thats bad at all considering it just won an award for sugar rub of the year , and beat some much more expensive competetors, Elemis, molton brown, etc...
Initially i was looking for a tropical themed mani/pedi range, as an alternative for my clients. I saw Pure Fiji at Pro Beauty 2008 at Excel and had a free hand exfoliation and was amazed, the girl there exfoliated my hand using their sugar rub and then finished with the body butter. The difference between my two hands was huge, one hand was extremely moisturised and glowing. I decided to test the product so i told the lady at the stand i woud be back if the effects were lasting, and believe me the smell lasted!! All day my hands felt so smooth and soft, i had the treatment at around 11am and at 5pm the effects were still prominent and im one of those people that is allways needs to moisturise my hands as they are really dry.
My opening order was around £550 and for that you get access to all body treatment rituals, retail and gift products too. They dont have a set packages if i remember correctly, so you choose the treatments that you want and you think will suit your clientele and they tell you the products you need to purchase. They also do accessories too like frangipani dishes, coconut bowls, bed runners etc. When i opened my account, there was a special offer, it was a free tray set-up and free training if you order at th show.

I also use and retail Pure Fiji products with success. The clients smell the products when we use them and 80% of the time they go home with something.
We offer body scrub treatments and use the oils to do our massages and hot stones massages and the clients love it!
You'll soon take your money back on the start up cost.

Nice products but service not great. They said delivery would be within a week and it took just over 2 weeks because they had neglected to contact me to tell me that a product was out of stock. I had to chase constantly but got them in the end. As a new customer I shouldn't have send emails and make phone calls to find out where my products are. They also ignored my emails that I sent asking where my products were. Nice products though.

last week i phoned 3 times, 3 times nobody was there i left a message nobody has got back to me... so dont think im going to be using them if i cant even get a hold of them to get a sample...

My only experience of pure fiji was at a trade show, trying a sample and both myself and my hubby found that our skin was really irritated and neither of us has sensitive skin. We were looking for a manicure/pedicure range at the time. I personally found that the products were also very highly perfumed. But can i also point out this was 2 or 3 years ago so things could have changed.

Did you have a lot of different products on your skin? That happened to me with something else but only because tried too much! Pure Fiji is really great for senstive skins, just not great if you have nut allergies....

She is great! Always helpful with me too and a girl called Tijen is very good too....

If it goes to answer phone then it means that their lines are busy but whenever I leave a message they always call back on the same day! I have been using them for a couple of years now and they are such amazing products!

I am sure that this is a one off as I have always found them very helpful. The products are so nice and my clients love them! I am sure yours will too!
