I know you can buy it in boots or holland and barratt?

hth

You can get it anywhere that sells aromatherapy oils - Tea Tree is so popular that you can get it in the likes of Boots, Tescos, Superdrug etc. etc.

oops sorry I just noticed you are in Australia LOL - try Google as I think it originated in Australia.

Visit the australian body care web site. Its the only tea tree oils i will use as there is always a % on the bottle of tea tree used, unlike the ones from boots, body shop and other places. They dont put it on the bottle as theres hardly any tea tree in there lol
Hope that helps you hun xxx

Your welcome.. xxxx

No home should be without it.
If anyone takes it from me, there's going to be a fight:lol:

YES, it does work on the greenies, even better than the prescription with the nasty side effect. (I know, many many many years ago, I had one-unrelated to nail enhancements- and the prescription didn't work).

Google the uses of it, and you'll see what it does.

Just take care at pharmacies and such and make sure it's the pure oil and not diluted with who knows what.
I personally prefer the one put out by Melaleuca.

hth's:hug:

Its great stuff.

I once read a tiny article in a paper - that they were testing it on mrsa - but then last year - there was a conflicting article that it caused teenage boys to develope breasts BUT I think that is a load of crap.

Add drops of it to you handwash to help with bacteria.

As we speak - I have a pair of earings steeping in some with water before I wear them.

Oh and I was gargling it mixed with water over christmas to help my sore throat.

My 7 year old son dabs it neat on his mouth ulcers - he said it works like magic.

Multi use product - worth every penny. I use Australian Bodycare pure tea tree oil BTW.

wow how good is that whats better then natural stuff thats so good to know and read im going to get some 1000% god its exiting to find out new stuff its really great thanx heaps guys its nice of you all to repond back

Woolworths in the beauty aisle

Do you still have Woolworths in Australia?

Yes, it's great stuff. Some years ago my cat developed an absess following a cat bite. Vet wanted to operate but because he had eaten that day, said to bring him back the following day. I bathed it in hot water with tea tree in and then applied neat tea tree oil. Vet couldn't believe it next day when I took him back and agreed to wait and see. It was gone within a few days, avoiding not only expensive vet fees, but anasthetic and an operation.

its sounds like a little wonder god the stuff you can use it on im so amazed yep woolies is still in ozzi yeh im living in europe at the momment as you all can see but go back n forth to home :green:

Oh i love tea tree oil no home should be without it ,it works on the dreaded greenies ,infact it works on everything My 80 year old mother has used it for years and swears by it ,she has her hair permed regularly and to stop it drying out(chemical damage),she adds a drop of teatree oil to her shampoo, keeps it soft ,lush and shiny ,she has hardly any grey. i get mine from neals yard and they do mail order http://www.nealsyardremedies.com/

I add tea-tree oil to:
Shampoo
Conditioner
Liquid hand soap
Cuticle Oil
Apply to skin before cream
Add to water for a diffuser to kill air born bacteria
Apply to cuts & burns, and bug bites
Apply to ear with olive oil for ear infections
Mouth sores
Put it in mouth wash...

the list is endless!!!!

I also use Melaleuca Household products (bath and cleaning & detergents) which are natural, bio, and all have tea tree oil.
They are cheaper to use, not irritating and safter AND more effective.
Their toothpaste works better than Sensodyne for sensitive teeth AND it's cheaper to use (1/3 the cost because you use 1/3 the amount)

I'm never going back to the yukky stuff:!:

room freshers gosh the list is endless with these wonderful oils i use Lavender oil as a room fresher it's also a good nights sleep in a bottle,i don't even use much chemically household products anymore.:)i also use teatree in my footbath.

PS:
My daughter is allergic to Dust & dust mites.

Ever since we've started spraying "Solumel" (the Melaleuca air freshner, cleaner etc.. all-in-one) on furniture, dog bed, bedding, drapery and carpeting every couple of days... we have seen a HUGE difference and she hardly suffers at all anymore (unless I've fallen behind in vacuuming or dusting) whereas before she coughed all night and the runny nose was incessant whether I dusted or not.

Solumel is made from tea-tree oil too:!: and kills Dust mites (which are parasites, and why it's "anti-parasitical")

My friend's hubby uses it for athletes foot. He suffered for yearrrrrrrrrrrrs.... tried Dr Scholls, a podiatrist.. prescription... it kept coming back.
Now he uses his oil once a week and the athletes foot stays away.:green:

Sorry, it was a tad O/T, but tea tree oil.... I got two words.....

GET IT:!:

:green::lol:

I'm not trying to put anybody down, but remember that just because it's natural it doesn't mean that you cannot develop allergies towards it, and that it cannot have any side effects.
It's a great product compared to many perscription drugs, and so are essential oils, but overexposure can occure and with that the possibility of allergies to, as with everything else (even water).

Their toothpaste works better than Sensodyne for sensitive teeth AND it's cheaper to use (1/3 the cost because you use 1/3 the amount)

I'm never going back to the yukky stuff:!:

Gonna get me some of that! it so cold over here its been setting my teeth off they are that bad (from clenching when stressed out!)
Thanks for the info

PS I'm another tea tree user Australian Body Care for me - works wonders on so much
