Is there any product out there that I can get rid of purple/red thread veins on my legs? Mostly around my ankles. I have fair skin so they show up quite a bit.

I am also after a good none greasy easy absorption moisturiser as my legs do get quite dry. Especially as I epilate.

Thanks

no topical skin product will get rid of 'spider/thread' veins on legs. The ideal treatment is sclerotherapy. (micro injections of a sclerosant directly into the vein, which will eradicate them. If there are a lot it may need to be done in several sessions.

The other option is laser treatment - but can be hit and miss. The preferred method is by injection for legs, laser for face. X

There is no way of disguising them then? Oh well, thanks for your reply.

Can you recommend a good none greasy easy absorption moisturiser?

You asked about 'getting rid' of them. Disguising them is a different matter. You would need to look at the many camouflauge creams out there to see if there is one suitable.

I personally find cocoa butter good for dry skin on legs.

I have very fair skin and a few visible veins on my legs, I find that having a spray tan makes them unnoticeable. hth

Thanks guys, I will look into everything mentioned

My friend is in the process of having hers lasered although they are around her nose, I'd love to have mine done just can't afford at the mo! She pays about £60 a session and was told she may need 4-6. She's seeing good results so far and had 3 I think x

laser is definitely the safest option for facial thread veins - simply because of the risk of scarring. The sclerosant is too strong for facial use, although more effective.

For legs, definitely injection rather than laser.
