Hello everyone! I was just wandering what you would have to do in order to be able to provide IPL treatments, not just for hair removal but for skin rejuvenation? What qualifications are needed? Thankyou!:)

The qualifications to do this are usually earned while doing your NVQ3 at college,
but i do think some companies that sell the machines also do the training hth

Thankyou loubylou!I didnt do my level3 way back when (kicking myself now though!) I finished with Level 2. So with that in mind, say for eg (and Im literally only just looking into it now) I purchased a machine from a company that provided training, would that allow me to legally offer IPL treatments, or would I have to go back and do level 3 and then do a company course as well? Sorry if thats confusing you or sounds really dumb! Thankyou once again!:)

As far as know, as long as you have experience in the industry then a company would be able to train you and you would be fine to go,
you would need to get in touch with some companies and ask a few questions then get in touch with insurance companies like the guild to check if the information the companies have given you is correct,
we all know what these sales people are like for their porkies if they think they are going to get a sale

Hi there

Was wondering the same, and called into a friend clinic whereby she has someone turn up doing naturalux. Here's their website if you want to check it out:

Yes, I agree with calling Lynton. Very helpful company and give full training on their machines.
