Hello, me again.

Now that my cruise ship dream has gone down like a lead balloon due to my condition, I have been looking at jobs abroad on land instead!

My query is: if I continue to HND from my HNC, will that be good enough or should I finish in June with my HNC and find a way to do an Itec, CIDESCO, or the like afterwards? I'm more than aware that working in between for the latter idea is crucial to gather up the funds!

Also, if I do one of the other qualifications is it better for me to work and do them part-time? I'm just a wee, green 23 year old so some advice from those who have been there and bought the t-shirt would be very much appreciated.

I think it depends on the country that you wish to work in. Perhaps you could contact the embassy for your chosen destination to check their requirements.

CIDESCO & ITEC are international qualifications however I have a friend that is CIDESCO qualified but when she moved to Florida she still had to re-train USA style in order to be insured over there.

On a personal note, I would leave this country in a heartbeat but I can't due to reasons that I wil not bore you with. One day though.....

I am very envious and hope that you enjoy wherever you emigrate to!
