Sorry geeks this might seem like a stupid question for me to ask but i have to ensure i set my mind at rest, now im pretty sure but i may be wrong that everyone has pores on there nose area, just i had a client come in and ask me about how she can get rid of them.
When its open pores or tight ones i've never not had a client without having them on their nose area

I'm not a skin geek, but I suspect maybe she had large / open pores and was wondering how she could reduce their appearance.

As to the solution to that, I don't know

As to complete get rid of pores, I don't think that's possible. You skin needs them !

You can never get rid of pores however you can minimize their appearance by regular exfoliation and cleansing of the skin.. A double cleanse a couple of times a week is always good. MDB is also useful. A client of ours had an oxygen facial and swore it had the best results! You could also advise your client on what skincare range/product is best suited to her skintype.

Your client could also disguise her pores with various cosmetic products. Clinque have a good range.

She should also drink plenty of water and start the day with a detoxifying lemon and hot water... and generally not have too many late night alcohol filled nights!

Im sure dermalogica have something for them.If they are open pores that are black they are quite difficult to get rid of and the more you squeeze the more they come back.If her skin is very greasy on the nose area a setting mask containing kaolin or fullers earth will reduce appearance for a while.

Pores are all over your face, pores are the opening of the hair follicles. Where there is a hair there is a pore.

Pores do not open and close. The hair follicle dilates or constricts.

Where you see alot of blackheads most likely you will find enlarged pores. You get blackheads due to poor exfoliation, genetics and sun damage.

Using a good exfoliator that cleanses the pores will help minimise the appearance if enlarged pores. Look for ingredients that contain AHAs.
