I am interested in using Environ products for myself and have managed to track down some local salons but for those of you that stock Environ do you carry out a consultation first and if so, do you charge for this?

I am interested in purchasing some eye cream and moisturiser.

I have only recently become an Environ stockist and charging for an extended indepth consultation is something I've been thinking about. But tbh I think that the best way is to maybe charge just £10 and then make it redeemable against any purchases made following the conultation.

A consultation is essential before retailing any of their products because of their active ingredients, but it shouldn't take long and will be well worth it becaue then you don't waste money buying product that aren't 100% perfect for your skin.

Thanks Pure, I would definitely come to you if you did that but unfortunately live to far away. I want to buy some of their products but begrudge paying a lot for a consultation if I am going to be spending a lot on their products!

Do salons local to you charge for consultation then?

I am going to phone them both today and find out. I will post back on here once I have spoken to them to let you know.

Ok. I would be interested to know. :)

Hi Pure

Just to let you know that I only phones one of the stockists and she doesn't charge for a consultation for Environ products.

I still think your idea is a good one though, I would be willing to pay what you ask..

Thats interesting. Thanks for letting me know. I think if I were to charge it would have to be a VERY indepth consultation though. :)

Hi Debs

I had my consultation today and brought some eye gel and ASTS 1. I also had a quick go on the jane Iredale make up which looked quite nice.

Can't wait to try my Environ products to see if they are actually as good as people say.

Jackie you will love them!!! :)

How long did your consultation take?

My consultation didn't take that long really. She just went through the consultation sheet and asked me all the questions and explained the products etc, I would say around 10 minutes for the actual consultation itself.

She then let me have a go on some of the make up which seemed nice but she is quite new to it herself so still learning with them.

I have asked her if I pay, can I have a go at doing myself a makeover with the make up to see if I like it.

They all looked lovely, the only thing I was wondering is that I want to do glamour make up for clients going out for special evenings etc and wondered whether the Jane Iredale make up is capable of creating strong looking make up.

On intial thoughts I did love it and just want to buy everything.

Jane Iredale is fab, I have had it in the salon for 4 years now ( i got it in for myself) and my clients love it, They have such a great range you can create any look!

Thanks djane, that's what I wanted to hear. Did you do a Jane Iredale course?

Would you mind giving me some advice.

I currently run my own tanning business and want to combine bridal make up and evening wear make up in with it.

I have no qualifications in make up but have always loved it and have done five weddings and numerous make up for my sister and her friends nights out.

I want to specialise in bridal make up but don't no where to start.

Would the Jane Iredale courses be enough or should I do something more intense. Would you also mind sending a pm with prices etc of Jane Iredale courses and make up etc....

Sorry to be cheeky but hope you don't mind.

If you want a more glamour range, I would say Lily Lolo Mineral Cosmetics would be the choice for you.
