Question for the Nail Geek

Hi, I was looking at the tutorials, and had a really dumb question, but I have never heard of "Walking" What does it mean when you say you are walking your brush (Bob).

It just means that I am 'walking' the flag of my brush from one side of the smile to the other side. I guess kind of small baby presses from one side to the other
