Hi everyone,
I am a creative nail technician living and working in Tenerife (i know very lucky). I n theory yes in practice its a problem. I work at the side of a pool doing enhancements, manicures, pedicures which is great till i come to the painting then all hell breaks loose! The polish starts to go gluppy as im applying no matter how quick i work but then when it comes to drying at the end it stays tacky for about 1 hr,nightmare.
I use creative nail products and finish with solar speed spray.

I sit in the shade i have my polish in a cool bag but still struggle anyone out there can help.
Iam in the uk for a week so i could buy anything i need now theres not alot in Tenerife.
Thanks everyone.
Sarah

I'd say it could be to do with the humidity, which unfortunately by doing the treatments by the side of a pool your not going to get away from that problem.
When I lived and worked in Turkey I was never able to keep my nails smudge free through the summer, but as soon as the winter set in I was fine.
Someone might be able to advise a product that has been recently formulated, but I know not of one.

As you're a Creative technician you'll have Solar Oil in plentiful supply :wink2: You can use that over the finished nails to speed up the drying process and/or Solar Speed Spray. It works a treat, especially in the climate you're working in.
