Obviously we have our tried and tested college method, soak fingers in acetone with oil.

I've also seen the Easy Soak bath and also other methods of heating up oil and acetone and placing acetone soaked cotton wool balls onto nail and then wrap with foil.

But what do you guys find quickest, before I take the plunge and splurge on an Easy Soak bath! :D

Cheers.

I find the D-SOLVE is a grate removing product , and kinder than just straght up acetone , seems to be quicker to,
the easy soke is a good thing i have one and use it often but like anything there is pros and cons, It can be a bit of a pain to clean ,
and some clients older or with smaller hands casn get a bit uncomfy and restricted sat in it , saying that i do have one and do use it,

but

im more and more in favoure lately of maggi foil wraps , they are so strong and flexable you can remove them and put them back on you use hardly any remover , its just on there nail insted of the whole finger, and the foil traps the heat so alittle faster, the client can have a drink or carefully flick through a mag , and they are much easyer for just removing one nail ect,
but like anything there is pros and cons , the cost being the main one that you can cover by the fact you will be using less product remover and if needs be ajust the price of removal, the other thing you can use them on toes you cant do that with easy soak
the other is the space for them to be stored but thats not much when you think of the size of easy soak ,

they are both fab things to have .... good luck on what ever you pick :)

OK, I'm going to be a bit of a scav here, but can you use hairdressing foils with a lint free acetone soaked pad? Also looking to find the D-solv?

Does the easy soak bath actually cut down on time because the acetone is heated??

:D

You could do , but that adds time LOL cos the maggi wraps are pre cut , and the pad is stuck inside it so you dont have to mess about getting it in the right place, and the foil they are made out of is kinda strange stuff much stronger than the hairdressing foil , me and one of the hairdressers at the salon kinda tested the 2 lol (as you do at lunch lol)
and the pads in them are diffrent , they are like make up sponge or something im not sure what but they need hardly any product remover and they kind of lock it away so it dosent leak , lol hard to explaNE

the easy soake dose cut time , the warm water warms the acetone ect and the lid keeps the vapers away ,

like I said they are both good methords,
