Random! Does anyone else "gurgle" but never burp lol

Geeks!! I know this is a bit wierd but does anyone else have this problem, sounds grose but I just cant and never burp, ever....I get realy bad gurgeling in my chest and it hurts and is realy annoying, does anyone else have this problem and have you ever got rid of it? Do you think heart burn stuff like gaviscon would help with itxxxxx

try a capsule with simeticone in, windeze or windex. it may be trapped wind! simeticone helps you to burp or pass wind! by basicaly making the little bubbles stick together to be a big enough bubble to get rid of! dont wory it wont make you start burping or farting loudly everywhere! i promise! also try peppermint tea (with a little honey if you like).

(i used to be a pharmacy tech and also get ibs so have had this problem myself)
if it doesnt help then pop to the doctors, dont feel silly about it!

I've got a friend who has had this her whole life! No matter how hard she tried or how much cola she drinks she just cannot burp! No solution though? Maybe google it? x

I have heard of this before , but.... like weezie can offer no solution except try not to swallow any unnecessary air or fizzy drinks or anything too spicy as I would imagine it would bloat you out and make the gurgles worse
anyway it may be that you have a good tight anti reflux system inside which allows the air down but not back up again ,
and this may relax in time and with age,

as always I guess the air will find a way out later on :smack: :lol:
I did know someone who could never pass wind at all from the other end
she and her sister told me that she has never been able to do this at all in her entire life !!!!!!
but she sure could burp though , so I guess it doesn't really matter too much
as long as it comes out one end or the other , hth minky
