Razor nick in nail plate

Ouch!!! Well there was I merrily razoring this morning when I caught my nail plate..... :cry: I've done it before with enhancements on but I'd taken mine off for the Beauty show y'day to try out some more gel colours. That will teach me!!!

Anyway, my question is this..... what am I safe to do to it now? It's in the middle of my nail plate. I have made a nick in the nail plate - can't see how deep. Not really sore just that I keep catching it as there is like a "flap" (if that's the right word) of nail plate covering the slice.

That's clear as mud, right???!!!

Well if anyone has any advice, me and my middle finger would sure appreciate it.

Overlay it until it grows out.

I've done that...it didn't hurt so much as make my skin crawl...like nails down a chalk board...eeek...horrible. I overlayed mine and it just grew out.

Sanitise it well
Seal with it with a bit of adhesive
Overlay it
No problem
