Your website looks good...just looking at your price list...ive never seen anhyone offer just tips before....I cant imagine they last 5 minutes?

Hi

Is a nice site, neat and clear- however you are very cheap with your manicure and pedicures. There is actually a lot of work going into them. I would be charging at least another 5-7quid. the same goes for facials and back treatments which includ a back massage - that should be at least 20 - 25quid.

You really are worth more you know! Have you taken into account that you go to them so petrol and time is taken to set up etc?

Hope you won't take it the wrong way but it gets so hard to put prices up when you get more clients.

HTH

Thank you for your comments :)

I only use salon system for mani pedi which i think does the job and is still a nice product but know one want's to pay over the od's for them.

And the tips they are like the one's u buy in the shop but not painted so i paint them, they are only designed to last a few days or for the younger client's that are 2 young for acrylic nails.

They last a few days.

xx

spelling mistake on first page

weather should be whether

oops.

thank u xx

I think fake bake's lawyers will be on you like a ton of bricks if you dont change that logo- and they will. Did you just take the FB logo and put your name in the middle?

It was me who mentioned your site being in Flash. Search engines are going to find it really hard to find it.

I also noticed the fake bake logo straight away hun. x

changing as we speak.
or at least trying to pc keeps crashing.

Wasn't sure if there would be a problem don't know if copyrighted etc but probably best to anyway,xx

Sorry but I personally don't see stick on nails as a service to be offered by a nail tech. It's not a professional service.

Flash is a proprietary format (currently owned by Adobe) for creating things like animations on web sites.

The issue with search engines is that Flash is a binary format (as opposed to HTML which is text based) and harder (if not impossible) for search engines to read. So it can make a web site harder to be found in Google if not used properly.

I think the main issue is that the web site provider that Beautification is using for her site uses Flash for their navigation menus (which are critical in terms of search engines, as search engines need to be able to read links to other pages on the site). As it is one of the web site providers that let you design your own site using a user-friendly template type system (but unlike most others, theirs is using Flash for navigation menus for some reason).

There is nothing wrong with Flash if it is used in the right context, e.g. for providing rich content like animations, music and video. I think YouTube use Flash for their video player, for example.

So the key with using Flash is to make sure that there is adequate description of the content in the HTML code of the web page with the Flash in it (so that search engines can index it properly).

Hope that helps and isn't getting too techie!

The only other issue with Flash is that it normally needs a third party plugin (from Adobe) - and I can't for the life of me get it working on Firefox on my Linux box in the computer room, even though it's supposedly downloaded the plugin at least a couple of times!

Actually, I stand corrected! I have just had a look at the underlying HTML for your web page, and the links are actually good old proper hyperlinks (using <a> tags, just as they should be).

What I think is happening is that the Flash is being invoked from the onclick event on the link (in much the same way that Javascript would be) to "decorate" the link with fancy stuff... but the link itself is a bog standard hyperlink that will be picked up just fine by Google...

YEEY :D

Still no idea but YEEEY.xxxxxx
