hi, i done a rebalance on my client pink and whites she has called me she has had a reaction (from the acrylic)??? little spots under the skin and itching? i used to use ezflow and tried NSI this time?/ not sure should i soak them off?
anyone heard of this kind of reaction be4??

I will be interested to hear what the experienced tech's answer as well, my first reaction would be to ask the client to come in and have a look, but if there seemed to be a reaction I would want to remove the product thats causing the reaction so I would soak off, and condition hand and nails, hoping the problem is solved quickly for you x

That sounds very much like an allergic reaction.

I'm still quite a newbie so i'm hoping someone will correct me if i'm wrong but i dont think you need to soak them off though, now that the product is set, it wont continue to cause more problems, the reaction has already accured.

It taks a while for the nasty little itchy blisters to settle down again though.

Does sound like an allergic reaction, now the l&p is cured it is inert and should cause no further reaction, but i would not risk exposure to acetone and risk further complications by soaking the product off.
I would advise the client to seek medical attention. HTH

Some people are allergic to the acrylate or cyano acrylate, which can leave their nails in really bad shape. I would get them off her ASAP and tell her o go to her GP to acertain if this it the actual problem. If so, she cannot use these products again.

If this is the case, it's totally not your fault!

Hope this helps.
