I have a client which I use L&P to do her nails, but eveytime time I use glue to put her tips on..she has some sort of reaction to it...what I mean is it's almost like it dries her nails and when the L&p is on a day or two later you can see it through the acrylic. she is in no discomfort, no irritation, on no meds..it's most clear when I have to replace a nail, once back to a clear no plate no acrylic it's gone like a 1/3 down her nail..looks horrible!

Is this just a reaction to the glue? If so what else could I use?

You could learn to sculpt and not use adhesive at all.
It is very unlikely that this is an allergic reaction. Sounds more like excessive dehydration or even air under the tip.
