Defo advertise now Hun, can take time for people to get booking, good luck you will be fine. :)

start handing out biz cards & post on facebook, you'll be amazed at the response.

Thanks everyone. This site is amazing I really feel alot of support from everyone, its great to feel that I can come here and ask for help. I feel very motivated from seeing that you all seem to do well,it makes me feel I can do it too.

If your all set for the 20th i would get started straight away with advertising rather than wait for the 20th to come along. Hope all goes well

As everyone has said start advertising now. Wishing you all the best

Good luck honey! As the girls have said get going asap.. it takes time for word of mouth to get about!!! Good luck keeping wax off that carpet too!!!:Scared:

;) LOL tell me but it is an old carpet so not too bad!! I was going to try and get some sort of plastic to put down for when i wax. Any ideas anyone???? oh maybe this should be a new thread??!!!

Yeah a sheet of plastic should be satisfactory hun.. I just know I'm forever cleaning the wax off my wooden floor.. You should think about putting down hard surfaced flooring! you can buy it pretty reasonably from the likes of homebase/b&q! Just the click-fit stuff.. Or of money is tight, you could just buy 1 packet of the wood and click it together to make a board to pop under your couch if you know what i mean? It should cover it! i really hths!

The 20th is not that far away at all....do start advertising and hopefully you will have some customers lined up for that date.....best of luck with it all:D

You need to advertise before your 'go live' date otherwise you won't have any bookings for when you start.

I have had a look at your pics and I would think about getting some screens to hide the TV, etc as my immediate thought was that it still looked like a lounge and not a salon treatment room.

What have you got planned for advertising ? Local paper, leaflet drop, noticeboards etc.

Good Luck with everything :)

Thanks all, just got a screen today its really nice I will add pics tomorrow. As for advertising got buisness cards and price lists gonna do a drop of them and have got the go ahead from a wardened retirement place to go put price lists there. Gonna try local tanning shop and a ladys gym and some hairdressers too. phew yes I better get going!!!!!

oh also forgot to assk you all was thinking of doing a promo to get them in !!!!! what about have 2 treatments get 3rd half price?? what do you think????
