Hi there wondering if anyone could help?!! I've just qualified on an Acrylic Nail Technician course and every clients nails I did for an assessment after a couple of days they would always start to lift. Is there a specific reason for this?! I know that this could be due to not enough practice but obviously don't want to practice on people that really want them done when they might lift and I don't know what I could be doing wrong! Any suggestions would be great!!

How do you remove your cuticle? When I used a dry system I used to get lifting now I use CND Cuticle Remover which is a wet system , my lifting's got a hell of alot better, and you need to make sure your ratio's spot on , and your not working too thick round the cuticle area.Get those three correct and you ll be chuffed.:)

My advise is to really focus on the preparation of the natural nail prior to aplication. Good preparation damatily reduces service breakdown and is a must in every aplication!

Thanks guys! yea I must admit after reading the articles and stuff I probably don't spend enough time on preparation, plus I do think when I apply the acrylic it could be a bit thick  I'm definitely gonna be trying out your advice!!
Also I've been looking into the CND products as I know how much of a good rep they have but how can you get hold of the products??! i've looked on sweetsquared.com but when I try to register with them I can't

Give them a ring....You wont be able to purchase the L&P/Gels without training with them first but you can still buy everything else.

Well if you give proof of training you CAN purchase a small try me kit even of L&P. Then if you like what you see and experience you can do a conversion class. ring 08452106060 and set up an account by phone .. once you have your customer number you can register on line.

You have to already have a customer number to register on line with S2 .. the reason for that is S2 only sell to professionals who have done training with the professional products. Think of it as a protection for you and our customers and support for professionals rather than a pain in the butt. Believe me it is worth going through the right channels to get the products and you have your assurance that not every tom richard or harry can get a hold of the same thing.
