hello can anyone clarify this for me.

A rebalance is when you are going to fill in the growth for the smile line and an infil is the cutilcle area.

some of my clients only have clear acrylic all over and then i polish. what i have been doing is a complete rebalance on each maintenance visit?
i know a pink and white needs to be rebalanced but just clear would that always be infil on each visit?

please can someone clarify this for me as think im just making more work for myself.

xx

The way I would define a rebalance is not how you have defined it.

An infill is filling in a space --- you can't keep doing that and expect balance at the end of it --- eventually the whole nail would be thin and out of balance wouldn't it?

So --- I rebalance every single time a client comes to me. I keep the balance of the product always the same by ensuring that the apex of the nail is always in the right place for balance and strength.

A FRENCH rebalance is when you replace the smile line with fresh white powder to keep the French look going -- we at CND call it a Forever French rebalance some call it a 'back fill' (hideous expression to my way of thinking).
