I've got some red additives and wanted to make a red acrylic,

Just wanted to have. Play around and try laboutines( think that's spelt right)

How much would I need to mix with acrylic powder and would I use white or clear powder,

Thanks in advance

You can try 1 scoop red with 2 scoops Clear.

I'm sure the additive ratio is 1:3

Really give it a good mix. I use a mortar & pestle to really grind the powder together. This way the colour will be mixed evenly

Thanks ill try it out, will it be opaque?

Yes it's true you will need a pestle and mortar when using red, otherwise it can look 'peppery' for want of a better word! If you want it opaque you will need to add some white (could add white acrylic powder if you are scared of affecting ratio), and possibly some black if you want it darker.

Thank you I will give that a go,
