Hi, nearly all my clients have Gels and 90% of the time have a total redesign rather than refill, eg going from black nail art to french etc. When coming in for a 'refill' I always ask is it a refill or redesign and explain the difference in the two and charge extra for a redesign. Which they are all totally happy with. Do you all do the same? or do you only charge for a refill even if you have to remove entire product and start again? Thanks for your opinions.

No I would do as you do. I think I'd judge it as: if it requires complete removal, it's a new set. If it can be filed back and over-layed (as you would a French rebalance for example) then I'd charge a rebalance price.
