This may be a bit of a stupid question but I'm new to soak off's! How do refills/infills work with them?

different manufcturers advise different things.

i trained with bio sculpture a long while back and we were taught how to infil them. people who train at present are told to soak them off every time though i believe.

i now use lechat nobility soak off gels and rebalance mine in the usual way unless the client asks for a soak off or theres some reason i want to remove them. its a bit of firmer gel than biosculpture and that makes it easier to file down to prepare for a maintenance treatment.

soak offs have a different texture to other nail enhancement products, they are more flexible so they feel a little rubbery and dont respond the same to filing. some would rather soak off and replace because its easier for them.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I use tips so say I removed the nobility gel with acetone, would this not also remove the tip as I have seen tip removers with acetone in them? I also did not know you could file down soak offs!

I only soak off if they are changing colors or complete design. Otherwise I just fill as normal.

it would disolve the tips too.

Thats great thanks both of you for your help :D
