I have friend who is thinking about having reflexology in the hope that it will help with a medical problem. I don't want to put her off having the treatment if it will help, but I don't want her to waste her money if it definitely won't help. The problem is a scar.

I will try to make this as uncomplicated as possible. Basically, friend had a baby, more than one year ago. Not sure if she had an episiotomy or a tear but she was stitched, and as far as I know she was not stitched quite right, and has been uncomfortable ever since.

In the early days I think she was told that rather than have an operation to put it right, it would be better to put it right when she has her next baby. Don't know myself what her plans are for a next baby but even if she became pregnant now, it would still be 9 months away.

I would love to hear that reflex would help with this, but I have a feeling it needs an op. If any of you can help with suggestions, that would be great:hug:

Have a look at this Reflexology

There is a question and answer bit there to click on,have heard that it can help with scars but I would seek specialist(medical) help about the scar first.HTH

Thanks Babs, I will have a look. But I think you are right, this may require non-alternative therapy!
