Refresher courses??

Hi there. I am posting on behalf of a friend of mine.
She trained and qualified as a hairdresser around 16 years ago. She now would like to get back into the industry but obviously times have changed.
Does anybody know the best place for her to start again without doing the training again?

Hello matey!

Does your friend need a refresher in everything or just one aspect?
I'm trying to find a colouring course up here as a refresher (see my thread) but it looks like I'm going to have to travel!
Sally's and Adel's wholesalers run other courses, like cutting techniques and things. Sally's have a website with a prospectus on it but I think the nearest that does courses is Leeds.
Otherwise she could try volunteering in a salon for a little while, I'm sure she'll soon pick up the new techniques and products cos she already has the basic knowledge and skills. Is she my end of town or yours?
