Registering a business name

I've been trading under my business name for approx 3 years now as Top 2 Toe but never registered it, i do mobile Beauty, Tanning & Nails.
I have now found out that someone has opened up less than a mile away from me trading as Top 2 Toe Beauty.
Can I do anything about this since as I'm not registered with this name.
I've looked it up in the business registery site and there is one Top 2 Toe Beauty in Northampton, I'm in Newcastle.
3 people have already commented on this shop asking if I have anything to do with it.
Is it too late to register then try and do something?

The only way you can do anything about this is if they have not registered the name yet,
get onto it as soon as possible hth
