Removing acrylic overlays

Hi, can anyone advise me please. I am an natural nail tech and specialise in shellac and minx. I have just had a client phone wanting her acrylic overlays removed and shellac applied. I am just wondering the best way to remove the overlays. She has no tips or anything shes just kept having the infill done.
Is D solve and magi wraps enough or will I need to soak ?

Hi there, if this was a client I had I would remove the acrylic overlay by soaking in acetone and then do prep etc before applying my shellac :lol:

You will need to buff off the shine first, then soak her acrylic off with acetone. You could use wraps if they are. Ice and thin but if not go for soaking in acetone heated with warm water beneath. (ie a bowl of acetone on top of a bowl of hot water if you don't have an Easi-soak available. Then buff off as it melts. Be careful not to file too much or her natural nails will get damaged. Then you are ready for the Gelish etc
