Hi there

I'm starting to do quite well with my prep now and most clients don't get any lifting but I've still got a couple who have a problem with lifting at the sidewalls. Although it's only a little bit it tends to run all the way down to the free edge so I'm finding it a little difficult to file away.

Any tips for how to hold the file to get behind the lifting? Also, any extra steps I can add to the "perfect prep" routine from the tutorials which I already follow. As I say, it's only a couple of clients who still have this problem.

Thanks

Hazel

hi there!
i used to get this and really struggled to get rid of it!!
file more into the middle of the nail, instead at the sidewalls,
thin the entire nail so it just pops off

i changed my prep to to a curette and a probe thingy, to really scrape all the non living tisue off the nail plate
also remember to pull the sidewalls down to remove and prep and scrubfresh or dehydrate
press your product in well too, and dont go to near the sidewalls

Well done its a great feeling when clients come back wothout lifting.
If you place the file just above the lifting and file then eventually the 'lifting' will 'pop'off.

I just keep going till nothing else comes off lol Really scrub the scrubfresh but I may not be pressing enough down the sidewalls as my brush is quite soft and flexible.

Thanks for the advice - I'll keep plodding on :)
