Rent a chair break

Do any salon owners who rent our chairs take their chair rent every week of the year or do you give the hairdressers a certain amount of days/weeks allowance of rent free time?

Just to clarify I’m not on about a % split. Only rent a chair

I rented a room out to a therapist, and I charged rent week in, week out. You may be able to negotiate a rent free period, but I work on the fact that my rent had to be paid regardless of whether I worked or not.
