I’m going to be renting a room in a hair salon soon where I will do beauty treatments.
It will be my own business and provide all my own stuff, sort my own hours and calendar and I will pay them rent.

Can anyone give me any advice? Need to knows? Checklists of things I need to do? Hints and tips?

On my list are-
.Getting insurance
.Keeping records of money made and opening a business account so I can do a tax return.
.creating website, fb page, and advertising
.keeping in line with Gdpr with mailing lists etc.
.writing a contract me and the hairdressers together to both sign agreeing the terms.

Any help would be appreciated!

My top tip, when working in beauty alongside hairdressing is to check out how the noise carries to your treatment room.
If you are just doing nails, lashes etc, it's not so much a problem, but if you plan to do relaxing facials and massage, then your room needs to be completely peaceful.
