Hey folks! I have so far been mobile only and have a lot of evening business, so I've been considering finding some salon space in town to grow my day time clients. One in a reputable salon has popped up, with reasonable sounding rent (£50 a week or £10 a day for the days you're actually working in salon) and, as far as I can tell it qualifies for business rate relief too. I can't find much info out there on this subject though so would love to hear from others who have done it.
- What questions do I need to ask the lady who I would be renting off before I agree?
- What do I need to do in preparation for changing from a mobile business to a salon? Aside from business rates is there other stuff I'll need to do?
- Did you change from mobile to salon and gain more clients easily, if so what did you do to promote your new space?
-Am I overthinking this?!
